Hands up. Let me see ’em. C’mon, whose with me?
If you have never stepped foot into a Lush store I don’t know weather or not to be sad for you or slightly jealous. Sad that you’ve never had a lush bubble bath that rocked your world or jealous that you probably have way more cash in your pocket than us Lush junkies do.
Fanatic or foreigner, you must get into Lush stores asap! Their new Valentines day collection has just arrived and it’s so stinking cute.
Here’s a little looksee from my visit this weekend…
Let’s be real, I want one of everything. But the stand out for me was their new Unicorn Bubble Bar. Not only does it seriously bring on the Lisa Frank nostalgia, (90’s kids know what I’m talking ’bout) but it is also predominantly lavender based which is one of the scents I can never get enough of.
Despite all the cute and tempting new arrivals, this weekend I picked up my staple and all time favorite body lotion on planet earth; Sympathy For The Skin. I cannot say enough about this lotion. It’s heaven in a jar. If you don’t like vanilla, bananas, almonds or happiness, please disregard the next few sentences. Otherwise, if you’re in the market for a body lotion that will change the texture of your skin, (seriously bananas soften like nobody’s business) keep you hydrated and smelling delicious all day long, than look no further.
This lotion is a game changer. In my book, no other body lotion compares to the scent, consistency and hydration this $30 jar gives. Its vegan, cruelty-free, made with fair trade cocoa butter and even the container itself is made from recycled materials, if you’re into that sort of thing.
And apparently I am not the only one hooked on this baby. I recently learned that this product is one of Lush’s older formulas but because of its cult following, they have never been able to discontinue it.
I love that in a company! Just when I thought I couldn’t love you any more Lush, you go on listening to your consumers and giving the people what they want. If that’s any indication that you might consider additional feedback, might I sugguest a bigger jar? You know, one that I might be able to roll around in? Thanks.
